Attorney Edd K. Roberts III was featured in a local magazine, “NC Triangle Attorney at Law,” regarding a murder case where the defendant was tried by jury for an alleged double homicide. Due to the aggravating circumstances of the murders, the State sought the death penalty in the case. The trial lasted three months and over fifty witnesses were called to testify. Evidenced showed he was physically abused as a child and left his home country to come to the United States looking for a better life. The draw of easy money caused him to get entangled up in a robbery scheme that went tragically bad.
